Resources
In this section, we will regularly upload useful information for our clients. This will include information on things to consider when using our services, general housekeeping, promotions, and how best to utilise our services. We believe this will help build a strong three-way relationship, and of course get the job done.
We recommend preparing for your clean. We suggest placing all your cleaning essentials* in a Cleaning Tray Caddy or bucket alike. Our Cleaners have reported they are more productive when all products and equipment are kept together or in eyeshot. By forward planning the Cleaner will get more done and you’ll get more value for your money.
Do not hesitate in instructing the Cleaner on how you like certain areas cleaned – ‘cleaning standards are very subjective‘. Inspect each area or room after it has been cleaned (whilst the work is in progress) to make sure you are satisfied, and if it isn’t you can instruct accordingly. Put away any valuables such as loose change, keys, private and confidential docs. Do not assign a cleaner as a key-holder until you’ve built sufficient trust and rapport with them.
*Coloured Fibre Cloths (for each area), Polishing Spray, Elbow Grease, Viakal – Limescale Remover, Shower Squeegee, Dusters, Flash for the floor, Toothbrush, Toilet Brush, Antibacterial wipes, Fabric conditions/powder, tablet, Black Bin Liners
Our Recommend a Friend Scheme is a great way to be rewarded for using our services. We’ll give you a gift voucher to the value of £20.00 (GBP) when your “friend” becomes a regular client* and uses our cleaning service. I’m sure you’ll agree having a cleaner to help around the home brings great value. It frees up your time, helps give you time to gather your thoughts and plan time with people that matter.
T&C’s *A regular client is someone that uses our services frequently and consecutively for 6 or more occasions. The gift voucher (will be solely determined by Crafted Cleans) will be emailed to the referrer once the recommended friend has completed 6 regular and consecutive cleans. This may be daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly cleans. Crafted Cleans reserve the right to withdraw the scheme at any time, without prior notice to the participates.
A good starting point would be to see what cleaning products you already have in your cupboard. If cleaning stocks are running-low top up – before your scheduled clean. We appreciate everyone has their own regular and favourite cleaning products, so the below is a guide on what we need to clean your home.
Multi-coloured fibre cloths – A pack of multi-coloured fibre cloths are recommended. Choose one for each area of the house, for example:
Red Cloth – Bathroom/Toilet
Yellow Cloth – Kitchen/worktops
Blue Cloth -Bedrooms
Green Cloth – Lounge
Using different coloured cloths helps reduce the possibility of cross-contamination and risk of harm.
Cleaning products – Washing up liquid, anti-bacterial wipes, all-purpose cleaners, extendable dusters, polishing spray, antiseptic disinfectant liquid, limescale remover, grease remover, shower squeegee, toothbrush, toilet brush, bin liners, rubber gloves, sponges, scourers, long-handled dustpan and brush broom set.
- Bleach is a banned product for external use, so it will not be used and handled by our cleaners.
Cleaning Caddy/bucket – This is so the cleaner can easily carry the cleaning products throughout the house.
Air Fresheners – Choose an air freshener for a clean and refreshing aroma after the clean.
